Barry M nail paint in Matt White
La Colors nail striper in black
Barry M nail pain in Black
Technique:
- Firstly paint two coats of Matt white nail varnish by Barry M or any other white nail polish for an even white base
- Secondly take your black striper and draw two lines in the shape of a V
- Fill in the area underneath these lines with Black nail polish, I used Barry M nail paint in black but any will do, use a cocktail stick to help you if needed
- Using a cocktail stick dab two dots for buttons and a bow tie
- Apply a top coat to seal your design in!
- And you're done!

HAIR CHALKING
I'd been thinking of trying hair chalking for a while but was worried I would damage my hair doing it, however after doing it, it washes out and my hair was in exactly the same condition as before, so I'll definitely be doing it again! Basically hair chalking is exactly what it sounds like, depending on the colour of your hair, will depend on how bright it shows up but luckily being blonde it shows up quite easy. However it is quite time consuming, the first thing i did was style my hair as normal then hair spray the ends, the next thing I did was took the desired colour of chalk, in this case green and started colouring in my hair, which takes a while to build up the colour but keep going! The more you colour the brighter the colour becomes! I then moved onto blue chalk and mixed it with the green so it became almost like a gradient effect which I then repeated with pink. I highly recommend it for people that don't want to permanently die their hair but want to try something different for a night! xoxo

Review: BarryM Magnetic Nail Paint
When I heard about the new magnetic nail polishes I knew I had to try them out! So I decided to get the Magnetic nail paint by Barry M in 'Magnetic Burgandy'. I was dying to try it out so tried it out straight away and had disappointing results when it didn't work no matter what I tried. Finally I worked out how to use it when I applied a think coat which I then immediately placed the magnet over for about 20 seconds (more than what it said on the bottle), the bottle also said to put a coat first but after experimenting with it I've noticed it's much more effective with just the one coat! Overall I like this product but I recommend not use it if you don't have much patience as it takes time and practice to get the technique right!
NEW SHOES! :CREEPERS
Okay, so I had thought about getting creepers for a while & kept putting it off, mainly cos I had no idea what to wear them with. But anyway I eventually decided to just go ahead and get them & I can honestly say I'm so glad I did! I love them, they go with so many things when you actually start experimenting on what to wear with them and they make a real statement!

Review: Maybelline Super Stay 10 Hour Tint Gloss
Okay, so me being me & being obsessed with lip colours! I have recently bought two of the new tint glosses from Maybelline! I was attracted to them in the shop because of their beautiful colours & how pigmented they were. There's five colours in the range to choose from.. Forever fuchsia, Timeless plum, Lasting pink, Endless ruby & Forever Coral. Although all of them are beautiful shades I decided to purchase Timeless plum and Forever fuchsia because of how vibrant the colour was, not to mention how fruity and yummy they smelt!
Overall I think the Maybelline Tint glosses have beautiful colour pay off on the lips and colour stay's on really well, so you don't need to keep reapplying it! It also smells gorgeous! The only slight complaint I have about this product is it dried my lips out a little but if you applied a balm first it should reduce it from drying out your lips :)#

Clumsy discovery..
So the other day I realised I couldn't find my red lip stain anywhere and assumed I must have lost it somewhere, which happens a lot! Haha, until it turned up in the washing! I had accidently had it in my pocket and it went through the washing machine!! I thought it would be ruined but in actual fact it's better than ever! The colour is so much brighter and pigmented and unlike most lip stains, its not dry at all... I'm even thinking about putting my other lipstains through the wash too... on purpose!
If you look back at an older post of when I first got the lipstain and I did a review you will be able to see the difference! I think I might have to do this to all my lipstains!!
From this picture you can see how much brighter and how much less dry it is!
Swatched on my hand, you can see the difference!

NOTD: Black Glitter Nails
I love experimenting with nail looks and because I'm going out tonight I found it was a perfect opportunity...
What I used/ did....
- Firstly I painted a layer of E.L.F's dark navy onto my nails, which is a metallic looking black/ grey, I wouldn't describe it as navy though
- Next I put a layer of E.L.F's twinkle on top, which is a beautiful glitter top coat, which I love on top of this colour because it makes the glitter look almost multicoloured!
And you're done! Hope it helped :)
Valentines Cupcakes!
Make someone's day special this Valentines with Valentines cupcakes! Valentines day isn't just about being in a relationship, it's about love, that can be any kind of love, friendship, family or being in a relationship! Lately I decided I don't show my friends how much they mean to me enough so with it being the last day before the holidays and nearing Valentines day to try and show them. I baked chocolate cupcakes, with pretty 'Valentines like' decorations and wrote their names in pink glitter icing!

Maybelline's Color Sensational Lip Stains/Pen....
At the weekend I decided to purchase Maybelline's Color Sensational Lip Stain in 'Shy Red' & 'Plum Flushed' because I'd heard great things about them in last weeks issue of LOOK magazine. I've worn them every day since and I have to say they're gorgeous! Firstly I cannot stress how they good they smell, of berry's and yummyness! The pigmentation isn't super pigmented but I like it about this because you can build the colour up depending on how bright you like your lips, which I like because you can use them to create a subtle lip or a bright hot pink/ red lips. They last a few hours before you have to top them up, which you could say is something bad about them but I hate it when I can't get lip stain off before bed, and it's still there days later!
Hope this helped! Definitely recommend them :)

Prom Dress Talk...
So lately every body's been getting their prom dresses and I'm stuck on which type of dress to get :( Red's my colour so I know I want a classy looking red dress but I don't want it to look tacky and want something different to what all my friends are going for, my choices are....
I was going to put a picture here... but the website I like the dresses on has some protection think where you can't copy and paste, save pictures or even print screen! So I'll have to put a link...

- This dress I love but I'm not sure how good it would look in red, http://www.lightinthebox.com/Sheath--Column-Straps-Floor-length-Chiffon-Evening-Dress_p185532.html
- I love the trail and strap on this dress, the shapes so unusual!...http://www.lightinthebox.com/Chiffon-Satin-Trumpet--Mermaid-One-Shoulder-Watteau-Train-Evening-Dress-inspired-by-Ksenia-Solo--FSA11342-_p161396.html
- This dress looks so elegant and I love how it's kind of strapless and kind of not?.. http://www.lightinthebox.com/Chiffon-A-line-Off-the-shoulder-Court-Train-Evening-Dress-inspired-by-Camilla-Belle--FSL0731-_p171408.html
- This dress is so classy and I love the vintage/ 1920's style of it! http://www.johnlewis.com/290844/Product.aspx
I have so much to choose from! ha ha, I love the low back/ back detail, because I think it's not the obvious thing that most people go for and can make a simple dress beautiful!
Hope this was helpful for anyone that's looking for something similar to me!

Hair of the day: Beach Waves!
So today I decided to do something different with my hair and decided to do a 'beach waves' inspired hairstyle. To create this hair style I used the Andrew Barton Making Waves Triple Barrel Hair wavers which are AMAZING &best of all, they're only £25.00 compared to the Babyliss ones which are £50.00, which I've also tried and got the same results! And with summer coming up this hairstyle will be perfect with a little summery dress and sandals!

E.L.F £1.50 Lipsticks!
I've recently discovered E.L.F's £1.50 lipsticks! Firstly £1.50 for a lipstick is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! But you would usually think for that price they can't be much good, however I couldn't have been more wrong! They're so colourful and pigmented and come in a wide range of beautiful colours! In the picture below I've swatched the colours and tried to take a good picture of the colours, in person the colours are a LOT brighter (for example flirtatious is a neon pink) but unfortunately this pictures been taken at night, hence the terrible artificial lighting!
| From left to right: Posh, Voodoo, Flirtatious, Nostalgic, Charming, Fantasy, Sociable, Captivating, Gypsy and Fearless. My favourite is Nostalgic because its a beautiful everyday nude perfect for the likes of school or work and looks gorgeous with a smokey eye! New Trend, Capped/ Dipped Nails....
I think this trend for nails is gorgeous! Its so unusual and different, but exciting and colourful! There's so many combinations you can do and its great if you can't decide on one colour!
My Best friend Sarah decided to paint hers a dark navy/black colour with red sparkles on top, using E.L.F's 'dark navy' and Barry M's 'Red Glitter'
Review on Primark's Beauty OOH LA LA, Nail Foils.
For £1.00, these nail foils seemed worth trying. Although they only come in two designs, both of the designs are so cute! So this is the second time I've tried these nail foils because I didn't want to write a review without being sure what I think of them. The first time I tried them the nail foils lasted weeks, until one started to come off, which I think is great considering they're only £1.00!
How to apply Nail Foils..
They come in two pretty designs, leopard print and starry black and silver print!
- Firstly make sure you have no left over polish on the nail
- Next cut pieces of the nail foil the shape of the nail
- Then warm the nail foils, rubbing them between your fingers until the nail foils are bendy
- Lastly peel the foil from the plastic sheet then place it in the nail and press it down, let it cool
- File any excess foil from the nail using a nail file
AND YOU'RE DONE!
